Directions for the TSI Pre-Assessment This must be completed before you can take the TSI.

         1. Go to Practice for ACCUPLACER.

                   a) Create an account

                   b) click the third option Texas Success Initiative Pre-Assessments 2.0.

                   c) Select Jefferson ISD as the campus you are taking the assessment on.

           2.  Complete both the ELAR and Math Sample tests... There are 10 questions for each.

This is a great chance for you to see what the tests look like, but do not spend too much time on the questions as it is not graded...It is for awareness. Once you have gone through the 10 questions for both tests (again, no grade, just for their awareness and to see what it looks like) you will click next until you get to a place where it offers you more TSIA practice opportunities. *You might want to check these out or refer back to them. *You will need to download the certificate of completion and show it to Ms. Shelton so she can mark them as complete on the pre-assessment. This is actually a great pre-assessment for showing them what is coming and offering additional study resources.

When you show Ms. Shelton your certificate she will sign you up for the TSI, once your $30 testing fee has been paid.
