Jefferson Jr. High School Home
Welcome to another exciting year at Jefferson Junior High!
As I begin my second year as principal of JJHS, I am incredibly proud of what our students, staff, families, and community accomplished together last year. We entered the year determined to raise expectations, strengthen our academic culture, and show what our Bulldogs are capable of, and our students responded with tremendous growth.
That progress has given us even more reason to be excited about what lies ahead. This year, our focus is not simply on maintaining that momentum, but continuing to move forward. At Jefferson Junior High, we believe that every student can grow, every student can achieve, and every day matters.
We will continue strengthening "The Bulldog Way" throughout our campus by creating consistent expectations for academics, behavior, effort, and respect. We want our students to understand that being a Bulldog means showing up ready to learn, taking pride in their school, treating others with respect, and busting their tails from bell to bell.
Our teachers and staff are committed to providing rigorous instruction, meaningful support, and opportunities that challenge students at every level, from those who need additional intervention to those who are ready to be pushed toward the highest levels of achievement. Just as importantly, we remain committed to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment where students know they belong and where adults believe in their potential.
None of this work happens without our families and community. Your partnership, encouragement, communication, and support make a tremendous difference in the success of our students. I encourage you to stay connected, stay involved, and continue partnering with us throughout the year.
Last year showed us what is possible when Bulldogs work together. Now, it is time to build on that success, raise the bar even higher, and continue our journey toward excellence.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Jefferson Junior High and look forward to another incredible year with our students, staff, families, and community.
It’s a great day to be a Bulldog!
